Maral Jaberi-Lashkari

Hi there! My name is Maral! I'm passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and welcoming space where children feel heard and understood. I believe every child has unique experiences, strengths, and ways of expressing themselves, and I strive to meet each child with patience, empathy, and curiosity.

I'm particularly interested in working with children and supporting them as they navigate their emotions, relationships, and everyday challenges. I believe creativity can be a meaningful way for children to communicate and explore their experiences. My goal is to build a trusting relationship with each child and provide a space where they feel comfortable being themselves.

I'm currently completing my Master's in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I also hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology from York University.

Outside of counselling, I enjoy staying active, going on hikes, travelling, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
