Grace (she/her) has a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Social Work from Carleton University. Through her social work education, she developed a deep understanding of societal barriers and a strong commitment to social justice.
Building on her education, she developed a passion for creating accessible and inclusive educational environments while working with students both at an accessibility centre within a post-secondary institution and within the private sector. Throughout her career, Grace has worked with children, youth, and adults in community and education settings.
While working with students, Grace focuses on several areas of support, including strategies for planning, organization, self-regulation, task initiation, procrastination management, and more. Grace strives to create a non-judgmental and compassionate coaching environment.
She aims to support students in feeling empowered and building confidence by applying student-centred and strength-based approaches that acknowledge each student’s unique needs and strengths. She works collaboratively with students to help them discover and develop effective strategies, skills, and tools that align with their goals.
