I’m currently in my third year with Positive Kids working as a Registered Psychotherapist in which I have learned a wealth of information from my colleagues, supervisors and from my clients. I was a school teacher for 5 years, but transitioned over to counselling in 2019. I’m originally from Lockeport, Nova Scotia, a small fishing village where I gained an appreciation for education and sport. I moved to the Greater Toronto Area in September of 2019 where I have started my new career as a Registered psychotherapist working with young people and adults. I graduated from Acadia University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Education degree in secondary education, and then again in 2019 with a Master’s of Education degree in counselling. I have coached elementary, middle school and high school basketball for 10 years and enjoy working with youth of all ages to help develop skills such as teamwork, leadership, accountability, along with helping achieve life and career goals.
