My name is Sarah Mastrangelo,

I am a graduate from University of Toronto, Mississauga Campus in the Honours Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Cinema Studies and Italian Studies. I enjoy helping children with their education, in particular English and Math, because I enjoy seeing the smiles and satisfaction on their faces when these children grasp a fundamental concept they had been working on. It is very rewarding to see this learning translate into increased confidence for them as learners and better grades at school. I enjoy helping children of every ability and stage. I use strategies to make all children’s learning more fun such as getting the student to pretend that the learning session is a game. Another example of this is bringing in hobbies or toys that the student likes such as Pokémon cards or Star Wars Lego in the session.
