Heidi has an undergraduate degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in developmental and child psychology at the University of Toronto (M.Ed), as well as a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University (M.A).
Throughout her undergraduate and graduate studies, she had extensive research experiences working with different populations of various age groups because of her involvement in several psychology research projects associated with attention and memory.
In addition, Heidi was also trained as a conversation facilitator to work with adults with language disorders in the format of group therapy to provide them with both communicative and mental support.
Heidi utilizes techniques from person-centred therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) to help children and their families overcome various mental health challenges.
Heidi can provide her service in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
