Hello, my name is Daniela and I am a dedicated and compassionate mental health professional, with a strong educational background and years of experience in helping teens navigate the complexities of mental health and life challenges. My journey in the mental health field began when I completed my Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Toronto. I further expanded my education by pursuing and obtaining a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology. In completing my Masters of Psychotherapy at Yorkville University, it led me to Positive Kids, where I support and guide children, teens and their families with various mental health concerns and challenges.
I believe in creating a safe and non-judgmental space for clients’ to express themselves freely. My therapeutic approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, combining elements of cognitive-behaviour therapy, developmental psychology, and mindfulness-based techniques. By tailoring my methods to each individual’s unique needs, I strive to empower clients’ to navigate challenges, build resilience, and develop coping strategies, to live a happier and healthier life.
