Positive Kids provides comprehensive social and emotional skills training for children and youth. Our programs focus on emotional regulation, communication, conflict resolution, executive functioning, and self-awareness. We specialize in working with children diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and other emotional, behavioral, and cognitive challenges. Our goal is to equip children with the tools they need to thrive holistically.

Hours vary by location, but most services run Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with both in-person and virtual options available.

Classes are led by a multidisciplinary team of Therapists, Psychologists, Executive Functioning Coaches, Tutors, Parenting Coaches, and Dyadic Coaches. All are trained in child development, emotional intelligence, and evidence-based practices.

For children under 4, we offer parenting coaching and dyadic sessions, which focus on strengthening the parent-child bond and building emotional regulation skills through play.

Yes. We serve families across Canada and parts of the U.S., with offices in major cities and remote services available nationwide.

Yes. Upon request, parents can receive a progress report highlighting their child’s growth and recommendations for continued support.

Duration varies. Some children benefit from a few focused sessions, while others may require ongoing support. It depends on your child’s needs and your preferences as a parent. We tailor the length of service to each family.

Yes. We provide seasonal camps—including summer, March Break, and winter holidays—designed to reinforce emotional skills through fun, hands-on activities.

Absolutely. We provide virtual therapy, telephone coaching, and parent consultations for families who prefer or require remote support.

Yes. While we focus on children, we also support parents and adults with coaching and counselling for parenting concerns and mental health needs.

Yes. We offer hourly rates, program packages, and group discounts, and work with families to find a pricing option that fits their needs.

We welcome children with diverse diagnoses, including ADHD, ODD, anxiety, and learning disabilities. Our team provides tailored, compassionate support and can collaborate with existing care providers.

Our staff is trained in positive behavior support and trauma-informed care. If challenges arise, we work closely with families to modify programming, offer one-on-one support, or recommend alternative strategies.

Activities include role-playing, mindfulness, CBT-based exercises, executive function games, teambuilding tasks, and social stories, all designed to be fun, engaging, and age-appropriate.

We are not generalists—we specialize solely in emotional development and behavior in children. We go deep, not broad, with a strong emphasis on understanding how emotions affect behavior, especially in kids with ADHD. Our services are tailored, research-informed, and built around the unique needs of this population.

No. Positive Kids is a privately operated organization with consistent, centralized oversight to ensure quality across all locations.

You can still access our full range of services through virtual and telephone-based sessions, no matter where you live.

In select regions, home visits may be available, especially for younger children or families needing more intensive support. Please contact us to check availability.

Yes. Many of our services are delivered by registered psychotherapists and psychologists and may be reimbursable through extended health insurance. Please confirm coverage with your provider.
