Hi, my name is Momna. I am a compassionate professional dedicated to helping children develop the emotional and behavioural skills they need to thrive. My goal is to create a supportive environment where children feel safe, understood, and empowered.
I bring five years of experience working with children, including those facing trauma, autism, and experiences of abuse, as well as social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and various humanistic approaches, all grounded in well-researched, evidence-based practices. These approaches help children understand how their thoughts influence their feelings and actions. Through practical strategies and guided conversations, I work with children to build confidence, resilience, and healthier coping skills.
I strongly believe that parents and therapists working together create the most meaningful and lasting change. I collaborate closely with parents to help them understand their child’s emotional world, learn supportive strategies, and feel confident in responding to their child’s needs. This teamwork ensures that the skills learned in therapy are reinforced at home, creating consistency, connection, and long-term growth for the child.
In addition to individual work with children, I offer family and parenting counselling to help all family members communicate their needs in a safe, non-judgmental space.
