Julia is an Educational Counsellor with a Master of Education (MEd), specialized in developmental psychology from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) at the University of Toronto. Julia has a research background in the area of executive function skills as well as experience supporting neurodiverse learners (ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia) in various settings. As an educational professional, she is able to support students with academic anxiety, time management, organizational, and study skills as well as personal growth and development. Julia strives to provide a safe and non-judgmental space that encourages two-way discussions surrounding the topics of feelings and emotions. In this capacity, Julia utilizes strength-based and solution-focused strategies to assist children and adolescents in distress identify personal strengths to overcome challenges and find appropriate coping strategies.
