As a parent, you might be feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, worried, at the end of your rope, exhausted, angry, exasperated, alone, misunderstood, and tired of the judgment of others. You’ve tried everything and nothing works. I really get it, because I’ve raised three spirited kids myself! 

As a Parenting Coach, my mission is to support you in finding solutions to challenges you are experiencing with your child, learn new skills that will help not only your child but the whole family, and to get relief from stress.  

I’ve been a Parenting Coach for over 12 years, and have a further twenty years of experience as a workshop and support group facilitator. 

I use my training as a Compassionate Communication Parenting Coach (NVC), to help you improve your child’s Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and achieve a deeper connection with your loved ones. I’m also a trained Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) coach for parents of loved ones with Emotional Dysregulation. DBT has some of the best evidence-based skills-building tools for you to be able to impact how your child reacts to their big emotions and their unique challenges. In addition, I use Collaborative & Proactive Solutions (CPS) to find the source of a behaviour of concern to you, and find strategies to solve the underlying issue causing the behaviour. 

All the skills I teach come from a place of compassion and non-judgement, and together with you, I find ways to alleviate your stress, frustration, and fatigue by giving you the support and skills you need. I look forward to working with you and seeing the positive changes in your child or teen, and in your relationship with them. 🙂
