I provide counselling to children and adolescents who are experiencing a wide range of issues with the goal of improving overall wellbeing and functioning. I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques which is an evidence-based form of therapy that focuses on how thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs impact and influence our emotions and behavioural reactions. I also focus on growing emotional intelligence through social-emotional learning (SEL) and building resilience through mindfulness techniques. I have worked with children and adolescents for over 15 years. For the last 6 years, I have dedicated my time to working directly with kids struggling with challenging behaviour and/or emotional/social difficulties in the education system to aid in positive behavioural changes. My areas of expertise include behavioural and emotional challenges, aggression/anger, school difficulties, issues related to ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, anxiety, depression and learning difficulties.
